These Red Cedar Bodhrans are significantly lighter weight than Sheesham models, allowing hours of fun filled playing. With a DOUBLE Goatskin head, this model offers great sound for those seeking a lighter weight 18 inch frame. A double-skinned Bodhrán has two skins on top of each other, which gives it more volume, tone, and a deeper sound than a single-skinned bodhrán. Double skin bodhrans are more sensitive to touch at the back, allowing players to manipulate the tone with slight pressure.

Roosebeck 18" x 3.5" Irish Bodhran with inside tuning and two cross bars. A head of double goatskin layers are mounted on a solid Cedar frame. The frame is fitted in back with a fixed crossbar. Bolt tuning is hidden on the inside of the frame. Includes a tipper, tuning wrench, and a nylon gig bag, Free Shipping.
